Overhead Line Surveys
The surveying of overhead lines using laser measurement techniques is becoming widely used for the identification of low wires, sag measurement and identification of dangerous objects. Our laser scanners have a wide field of view, with high accuracy, making them ideal for this application.
Using our Riegl terrestrial laser scanner together with our range of third party software products allows high accuracy terrestrial based surveys to capture overhead line data for applications such as low wire identification, vegetation encroachment and sag measurement.
We can measure out sub stations and then process them to create 2D and 3D CAD models for our clients.
